Great West Media has an immediate opening for a general news reporter for our BonnyvilleNouvelle office The successful candidate will contribute to our regional newspaper Lakeland This Week and news website LakelandToday.ca.
Our news staff has come together from the Bonnyville Nouvelle, Elk Point Review, Lac La Biche Post and St. Paul Journal newsrooms to form one regional team that contributes multimedia content to print, web and social media channels.
The ideal candidate is looking to hone their skills in a busy newsroom setting and can hit the ground running supported by a team with many years of experience and a desire to be first on the scene.
There is no lack of news these days in our region - expect to be busy while having the opportunity to cover diverse stories. Photography skills and a reliable vehicle are a must.
