- Managing Newsletters: Contributing to the daily newsletter to ensure residents get accurate information delivered straight to their inboxes.
This role requires a digital-first mindset. News happens around the clock, and the team does not wait for the weekly paper to get published to share critical updates.
Qualifications: Are You the Right Fit?

To succeed you need specific skills and attributes:
- Insatiable Curiosity: You must be a self-starter who naturally wants to get to the bottom of a story and generate ideas without constant supervision.
- Platform Adaptability: You need a solid understanding of how to write for both print formats and digital platforms, drawing readers in from the very first sentence.
- Pacing and Agility: The ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced newsroom is essential, especially when covering late-breaking news.
- Innovative Thinking: The team wants individuals who think outside of traditional reporting boxes and possess the courage to try new storytelling techniques.
- Mobility: You must have a reliable vehicle to travel throughout the community for interviews, events, and breaking news coverage.
