Born and raised in Edmonton, Patrick Callaghan earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge. After graduation, he moved to Toronto where he worked in various accounting roles in the airline and healthcare industries. He earned his Certified Management Accountant designation in 2000.

In 2003, Patrick moved back to Alberta to join the Great West as controller, then VP Finance and Accounting before his appointment as Chief Financial Officer in 2018. At Great West his years of business experience serves the partnership well through his financial guidance in an ever changing media landscape.
